2022 Court Calendar

I hereby determine that: –

1. The date for the commencement of the first period of suspension of sittings of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Courts of First Instance in the year 2022 will be on Monday the 11th April 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal will be resumed  on Monday the 02nd May 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the High Courts will be resumed on Wednesday the 27th April 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the other Courts of First Instance will be resumed on Monday the 25th April 2022.

2. The date for the commencement of the second period of suspension of sittings of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Courts of First Instance in the year 2022 will be on Monday the 15th August 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal will be resumed on Monday the 29th August 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the High Courts will be resumed on Wednesday 24th August 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the other Courts of First Instance will be resumed on  Monday the 22nd August 2022.

3. The date for the commencement of the third period of suspension of sittings of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal and the Court of First Instance in the year 2020 will be on Monday the 19th December 2022.

The ordinary sittings of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal will be resumed on Monday the 09th January 2023.

The ordinary sittings of the High Courts will be resumed on Wednesday the 04th January 2023.

The ordinary sittings of the other Courts of First Instance will be resumed on Monday the 02nd January 2023.

In the event first day of court sitting falls on a Public Holiday the ordinary sittings of the Courts will be resumed on the Next Day.
